You think he went to KC because HE wanted to see what THEY had? Uh … I wasn’t there so its purely speculation but I am guessing THEY wanted to see him.Originally posted by 21&500 View Post
Haha obviously he doesn’t need or care about my opinion, just giving my .02 on a fan thread.
I think people are simplifying it for MI, to me, there is no need for a visit, you know what KC is offering, the visit was not benign, it was to send a message, an unneeded one.
Maybe I’m wrong, but why risk signing a potentially resentful guy? Unless Staley bangs the table, I’m good.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

I think he wanted to go to feel like a valued FA and let us know he’s wanted.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

I think KC has seen plenty of MI and risked nothing to bring in a disgruntled ex rival"The best defense is more offense."

I think you read way too much into things. Where do you get this disgruntled aspect from? Quotes made to media etc? The man is coming off and injured year the end of his career and still wants to play. Whether it's here, there, or anywhere. If any one of us had the fortune to be in those shoes would be doing the exact same damn thing.Originally posted by 21&500 View Post

It's really not a stretch to imagine MI feeling hurt after not being offered a contract from the team you've made a home with from the start.Originally posted by Panamamike View Post

I think taking a trip to KC was a bit more than just business, you don't and that's fine. Naive imho"The best defense is more offense."

I would also add that winning coaches win by maximizing value and production from rookie contracts. We have a lot of rookie contracts. Let them play.

If Not-so-Supa Mel couldn't even generate ONE measly sack opposite BOSA, one of the elite pass rushers in the league, that alone is proof Mel is done...Bosa commanded most of the double teams...so all Ingram had to do is beat ONE man most of the time...oops, looks like that didn't happen...pass...Originally posted by 21&500 View PostNo thanks.
showing up fat to camp last season told me his heart isn't into it
then the hold-in followed by immediately getting hurt, idk, I feel a bit swindled
visiting the Red also told me he has no sense of rivalry
still can't get the imagine out of my head of him (and lambo) laughing it up with the raiders after an L
jesus christ has football changed
ya I'll take heat here for my unpopular opinions but I'll also stand by them, pass on Ingram
use the cap elsewhere or roll over

if for absolute vet minimum with no guarantees then I'm OK with that. but I saw AT LEAST one play where he flat out just stood there doing nothing while everyone else was doing something. I've seen enough of him to see he's not gonna produce much. Even when he did produce a bit it wasnt a crazy amount. could be that he was used incorrectly but he never seemed to amaze me except for his throwing arm strength.
