With Ogbongbemiga out with a shoulder, I think no UDFA makes the 53. But Forrest Merrill now has the best shot.

With Amen out, I'll go on a limb and say that both DeLuca and Harper helped themselves in the Niner game...final preseason game I'd like to see more from both of them...also Yarbury...Brannon was looking good vs. the Rams, then didn't get much PT vs. Niners...

Good point...I'd prefer the Bolts keep him on final 53...Brannon may not make it thru waivers, a requirement before putting him on the no-poach PS...I can imagine Staley telling Brannon, "okay John, we'll trot you out for a few plays, but LAY LOW! NO PICKS!"

Gotta think Darius Harper has a shot. I'd like to see him play earlier next game. Very similar athletic profile to Pipkins, but maybe he actually has the ability to apply it on the field.

Harper played RT for most of the second half, and I thought he looked a lot more solid in pass pro than Pip...
