Ron Rivera has gone 19-25 the last 3 years as a HC. They went 7-9 last year in the worst division in the entire league. I think he’s part of the past, and Staley is the future. We will see. I think LAC knows what WFT will try to do on Sunday as Rivera is not a guy that will design an entirely new offensive and defensive scheme this off-season.

On the other hand, WFT has no fucking clue what LAC will do. they can guess at Staley’s D, but Staley’s D last year was designed for the players he had, he doesnt force a scheme on the players, he designs the scheme around on the players he has. On offense, the best Rivera can guess is maybe its like NO. But it won’t be like recent NO as recent NO was tailored to Brees diminishing arm. And it won’t be exactly NO from 10 yrs ago either as they are blending in flavors from lots of experiences - Staley specifically built the offensive coaching staff to be able to accomplish this new unseen offense.

Huge advantage to Staley imo for week 1 with zero tape to study. But then again, I’m a believer
“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

That's very optimistic of you. We had the same problem with our MIKE last year... hesitation and thinking too much. It's the mark of a rookie... and good HC's know that.

I think attacking with him is a good idea... but your other LB's better be up to the task in the flats and over the vacated middle. We have weapons that are specifically very good at exploiting that.
        Protect the QB
        Run the ball
        Play great defense

LAC does have a major advantage rolling out there new defense and offense, the WFT just needs to control both lines of scrimmage and that should be good enough to get the W..

We definitely gonna take our slumps starting a rookie at the Mike position, but I still stick with my unrealistic stats that Jamin Davis will have against yall.Lol...

Good plan. We feel the same. There ain't no gimmes out there.
Our LBs are pretty good. K9 led the team in tackles as a R. He's better this year. Kyzir White, better known as Bully, has his weight at 247, up from his S days and has lit things up in practice. Tranquill is another chiseled former S. All are fast, hit hard and have ball skills.
LAC's edge rush is real. Joey Bosa is a major stud, Nwosu & Fackrell hope you'll try to double Joey.
On DL, NT Linval Joseph is a pro bowler with SB rings and is still the same man he was.Justin Jones, Jerry Tillery and LJ are excited to play in Staley's D. The ultra-talented Derwin James may be the best player in the NFL but that aside, he's exceptionally good at SS. Adderly- FS, Mike Davis CB, Asante Samuel CB, Chris Harris slot are talented. LAC will play some killer D.

Sshhh, don’t tell him to expect that……..

                ….our DL/EDGE has 2-1st, 2-2nd, and 2-3rds to counter their DL of 4-1st and 2-5ths
….our WR/TE group is going to eat his secondary alive
….our LB group is FAST, instinctive, physical, and will make a huge impact in both phases
….our QB is far more TALENTED

I’m predicting a 17-13 win for the Bolts. I think the the Bolts offense will play just a bit better than the Washington offense.

                      Post of the weekend.

Not only will Rivera have no way to prepare a good macro-level game plan; individual WTF players will be bewildered and confused by ever-moving, ever-changing schemes and packages.

"I cover who?" "You were supposed to block that guy." Washington is going to be demoralized with the mental challenges in this game...which will make them so unready for the physical hammer that's going to land.

You are fun. Appreciate your spirit. Prefer a fish that fights when reeled in.

Come Sunday night your distraught fanbase will be suggesting some interesting alternative names for your team other than "Defenders", "Commanders" or the current "Football Team". Some suggestions will be quite "colorful". Book it.
