I don't think it matters if there is proof they conspired to intentionally deflate the balls. The balls were deflated.

They are responsible for the balls, the balls were illegal, therefore it is cheating. That is all that should matter. That is all that would matter if this was another team. The team should be disciplined simply for loss of organizational control if they are trying to make excuses and denials.

Patriots aren't champions. Bellichick isn't a great coach. Tom Brady isn't a good quarterback. They are cheaters.
Why it took this incident to make that clear, I really don't understand. It was pretty clear they were cheaters the first time they got cheating. Why did we need a second incident to make anybody understand?
The thing that sucks the most about this is that, if the Cheaters didn't exist, we might have 2 legitimate Super Bowl championships right now.

The comments about giving him his needle suggests he received the needle from someone or acquired a needle each home game. Thus a intentional elaborate thought out or designed conspiracy to provide Tom with under inflated balls below a known legal limit. And we are suppose to believe these two part timers cooked this up on there own?

Wells chickened out IMO.
