But on that final 'victory formation' drive, these guys all made tough, clutch catches to help secure the win. Even K.J. Hill contributed.

Larry Rountree impressed. Maybe he can be complementary back for Ekeler the way that Mike Tolbert and Michael Turner were for Ladainian.
Yes a measured amount of concern for dropped passes BUT its to be expected as it takes time to build chemistry in a new offense. Esp with no preseason.

Mike Williams can be a dominate WR IF he's stops with the dramatic unnecessary acrobatic jump catches. The TD play he had is the perfect example where his speed and size alone (plus a QB like Herbert) allows him to beat WRs. Low injury risk type of plays.

I am old enough to remember watching the '72 olympic basketball game between USA and USSR.
It was close, USA up by one, a few seconds left, USSR inbounding.
They throw it in, get off a shot, it misses.
      Game over...
      Or not...

Soviet IOC official in the stands, runs down, shouts at the head referee, who is Cuban, and gets him to put a few seconds back on the clock.
(FYI there is NO rule that would allow that)

USSR inbounds it again, does not get a shot off.
      Game over...
      or not...

Soviet IOC official again chargers in, yells at Cuban head referee, and once again a few seconds are put back on the clock.
(Most absurd thing I have EVER seen.)

USSR inbounds it again, gets off a shot....and it goes in.
      Soviets win.

Getting a game winning shot at the last second is not that hard if you get 3 tries.

This real event is the genesis of all the "Soviet referee" jokes.

I watched it all while it was happening (on TV)
You would not believe the shouting at the screen!

Road win on the east coast - I'll take it.

        Some rust was knocked off.

        On to Dallas.

Or something like that. I watched it at soccer camp when I was like 8.
Lol...I think you mean " Victory!", which pitted allied POWs in WWII against the Germans for a futbol match...while hatching an escape plan...Pele, Michael Cain, Sly Stallone...ring a bell? But yea...Nazi refs...

In the end, at half time, they have a chance to escape...or go back out to win the game....not a terrible movie, really...so I wont spoil it!
          Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

Slater was dominant. And against one of the best. Can’t wait to watch this kid get better and better for the next decade.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

A lot people don't realize how hard it is to win on the road. This weeks win was the second time in history the team won in Washington.

Fun Fact; the Chargers are one of few teams to have won a road game against every other team.

Yes, Slater lived up to all of the pub he was getting this pre-season. Handled one of the league's better D-lines, all game long. Every reason to be optimistic about him.

Other than ONE gaffe, Asante Samuel, Jr. looked *really* good.

He was throwing BULLETS. Those weren't easy catches. Other than one early drop, Keenan was clutch AF.

Mike Dub had an uneven game, but was clutch when it counted most.
