Agreed.
We denied ourselves legitimate shots to the End Zone
in the last minute of the first half.
Never mind the missed figgie.

Some of the RZ issues come courtesy of poor officiating,
but our RZ failings should be a major concern.

At the end, we should have been more cognizant of Legatron's range,
re our coverages and tackling urgency.

The Cowboys had time to run another play at the end and get closer. They didn’t. They played for a 55 yarder.

We all knew that was going to happen, the real question is... how many Charger Fans were out there?

Some. clearly outnumbered. The stadium is huge. I don’t know how people in the 400 and 500 levels see the game. Or do they just watch it on the oculus? The Rose Bowl holds 30k more but the highest seats are at the equivalent of the 300 level at SoFi

Herbert must have thrown for close to 500 yards with all the call backs, not to mention the 2 ints.... he was over-worked out there. First time I've seen him kinda rattled.

It’s a timing pattern that was actually great had Kennan not lost his footing and slipped.

thats what i saw as well. many will see that int as "who the hell was herbert throwing to" but if those folks actually panned back a little they'd see keenan tried to cut in and that timing was WAYYYY off cuz he slipped and fell. I think it's high time Keenan get some better cleats. He slips an awful lot. not a good start to the season for Herbert who now has 3 INTs in 2 games.

The Chargers played without discipline.

This! I felt that they are being given too much credit from the coach. He needs to make them prove they are NFL material and not have the attitude of " are we surprised we won" BS.
I'm not sold on these "Players coaches". We need a tough hard nosed coach that payers will respect. Not a guy that walks around and feels like he is surrounded by greatness and is humbled to be a HC.
All of this opinion mighty be a bit early to voice but this is the vibe I'm getting from this coaching staff. With that said, I think this year we are better off with these guys running the plays than the last coaching staff that was probably better at preparing players but worse at actual game time decisions/ management. In the end, I would rather have a team with good players and decent coaches than the other way around.

Just fix our penalty issue and beat the Chiefs next week, and everything will be forgiven. Use this L as a learning lesson and take it out on the Chefs.

Tillery is a bust. Same issues this year as every other year.

Michael Davis had a bad game. K9 missed multiple tackles.

Bosa was getting mugged. No CHJr. No Jones.

Still held them to 20. Personnel wise I think we can fix all this next year.

ASJ was very good. Bosa a non factor. Should have kept Ingram. He looks good in Pitt. James had a good second half but a very bad 1st half. Our stars did not show out today.

We won TOP. lost the TO battle, 1 missed FG, never punted, and had 6 offensive possessions inside the cowboy 33 YL resulting in only 17 points.
Defense wasn’t the big issue today.

Yes it was. Especially the run defense. Pollard had 109 rush yards and Elliot 71 rush yards, both had a TD. If we don't improve the run defense then it's going to be a long season.
