That's going to be a chronic problem, unfortunately.

So at NFL.com the Next Gen Stats Decision Guide (whatever TF that is) says that Staley's decisions late in the game (they mention the tying figgie and then the TD pass to MW for the win) as "SUBOPTIMAL DECISIONS FOR THE WIN" Dear NFL, please tell AWS to stick it where the sun don't shine. We have a coach with brains, balls and the team responds to that. Armchair Wankers Suck must be their company name.

Was Josh Palmer inactive for the game? I don't remember seeing him out there, and I know he didn't have any catches.

He'll be able to play with it, thanks to pharmaceuticals, as long as it doesn't get hurt worse.

            Active, no targets. 10 snaps.

Targets hard to come by right now.

I wonder if they included the data for sub-optimal kicker with high winds into that equation?

27/35 targets went to Allen, Williams, Ekeler.

Even in windy conditions with a crappy kicker, two kneels and a 20 yd FG are successful 90% + of the time. If you miss, you play OT and you still have a 50% chance of winning. Running plays there definitely decreased their chances of winning (turnover, penalty, or missed XP even if you are successful) as they brought the possibility of losing in regulation into play.

Hey! We pay your salary! ….Oh you do this for free? Because you are a good guy? Who loves our team as much as we do?

Thanks Bolt-O, Fleet, and all our other mods. Cheers to you.

If they went that route, I wouldn't have had feeling that the upcoming field goal was a 90% proposition; nor that if the field goal failed, the Chargers still had a 50% chance of winning.
