I just wished my Raider buddy "some" good luck......not enough to win of course. We settled on a no injury agreement instead. C'mon Bolts, this is the FREAKIN RAIDERS........play fast, smart and execute on both sides of the ball.

      Just win........

Their playing really good football. Chargers can beat them though if they bring their A game, avoid penalties and turnovers.
All Chargers opponents so far this year are .500 or better. We’ve played a solid schedule so far and done well even though we are not playing like a smooth oiled machine yet. I’m looking for less mistakes and penalties today leading to a hard fought win. Score TDs, go for 2 and keep Visquaina on the bench.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

          Chargers win by:

          - Not making ST mistakes.
          - Staying aggresive on offence.
          - Forcing 2 turnovers

I am still waiting and looking forward to how Staley coaches when he is up big. Does he turtle? Stay aggressive? Hope we get to see that soon. Tonight?

Yeah, I agree. Definitely have to cut down on the penalties. I hope they have made a point to focus on making sure receivers are set to how the refs have been calling things.

The Radahs actually kinda remind me of the chargers at this point...so it should be a close game I think. I don't think Gus Bradley gives them much advantage as the offense is new this year I believe..I am a bit anxious on radah day.

An old AFL story...probably Balboa stadium.

the chargers were playing the Radahs. chargers had the ball. Pre-snap Ike Lassiter(a mean ol radah dl) jumps the line, runs back and pokes John Hadle in the eye...nobody else on both teams even moved. Hadl is laying on the ground holding his eye thru his single bar helmet.

As i recall...the only penalty was offsides I think.

The offense needs to play better in terms of putting up pts on the board.

An offense featuring Herbert, Ekeler, Allen, Williams, Cook and a mostly solid O line (for once) should be ranked much higher than 20th in the league.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                    - 69-74 record
                    - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                    - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                    - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                    - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                    - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                    - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Agree, but don't forget they kneeled inside the ten against the Redsk,,,,Football Team, UT. And the new kicker has cost 5 points so far and counting.

Our ex defenders will be extra motivated today
gotta play smarter not harder on offense
On defense we need to tackle better, pretty sure we'll be alright if that alone imporves
                        G-Ro knows.

Lotta things change from year to year in the NFL. Steelers and Dolphins aren't playing well this season and they got the Ravens in game 1 after the Ravens had lost all 3 RB's and had just signed a couple of guys off the street.

                          Dolphins 1-3
                          Steelers 1-3
