Here’s my list of the positive things that came out of yesterday’s game:

    A better draft position.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    Let’s win one for Mack.

Keenan Allen needs to play better for us to win. Mike Williams needs to play better for us to win.

Herbert threw many catchable balls in tight windows that must be caught.

The margin is gonna be close more often than not.

Everybody is butt hurt because it's NE again. Who cares?

We're on to Philadelphia. Qualify for the post season. Then play your best football.

It is barely November on the football calendar. It is not even Thanksgiving yet.
Pretty much it....we simply dropped the ball....literally...

Not to mention 80% of the times the Patriots ran the ball, they got massive push up front. Chargers needed their safeties and DBs to get into the backfield to make plays the few times they stuffed NE.

On just about every run play the Chargers D line got pushed back at least 3-4 yards from line of scrimmage. And teams are continuously running right at Tillery and he has zero skills to shed a block and make a play when they do.

This is the worst run defense I’ve seen in my life since I started watching football. Not just at the NFL level but including college level as well.

If not Derwin James having to fly into the backfield all the way from his S spot to make plays or make RBs switch direction, I think NE would’ve averaged close to 7 YPC or more instead of the 3.6 or whatever they ended with.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

        - 69-74 record
        - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
        - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
        - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
        - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
        - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
        - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

I don’t think our run D was great but we did play good enough on D to win. When your ST coverage sucks and the O has a bad day, it’s hard to win against a team coached by BB.

The o line needs to respond.Im afraid he is startin to see shadows because the right side of TTs o line is dogshit like like all of us know nothing armchair GMs KNEW it would be.

I think the Special Teams is getting a pass as the offense had a bad day. I am not sure how many total plays were considered, Special Teams - but when probably 60% of the plays are bad - thats way too many. Every time there is a change in field position, the Chargers lost yards. They doubled team Ryan Smith but Swinton didn't know how to fix it

The D was left out to dry too early by the offense, and they got tired early.
After an incredible defensive goal line stop by our defense on 4th down, our offense responds with a 3nout
                    that's my turning point
                    D needed a bigger rest

We need to break out the jugs machine. We are tied for 2nd with the Giants for dropped passes. That's not good. Herbie is throwing a lot of fastballs, but he's having to throw through extremely tight windows, because receivers aren't getting separation. Yeh, he had 2 picks, but I don't see either of those being his fault. He's not completely blameless though. He's accuracy has been off the past 2 games. He's probably tired of getting hit.

When I watched the game it seems like NE players have more burst. From D, O and ST. They were fearless out there. Olszewski seems like he is about to bring it to the house every time he touches the ball. He’s a 4.5 guy but plays way faster.

I care that it’s NE. A lot. They punked us again. We had a lot of questions coming into the game about what type of team we really are. All were answered in the negative. Ravens wasn’t a 1 game aberration. Our offensive weapons are too easily shut down. Our defense gets pushed around. Staley said he wanted to be a line of scrimmage team. We’re not. There are no “easy” games on the schedule for a team like this. Staley/Lombardi have been exposed 2 weeks in a row.
