As an out-of-towner, I'm done if they go to LA. I've been to LA, and there's nothing to like about it at all.
If they move elsewhere, I'll consider following along. St Louis I definitely would as that puts them close to home.
And if the Raiders moved to SD, I'd follow them....as long as they changed their name.Offseason signature space for rent. Inquire within.

If it's really all about the players, then why not just root for individual players and not the teams, since the teams represent the cities that they are in? Maybe fantasy football is the way to go.
Nope if im rooting for players on the team i will continue to want to see players come in to help them. I dont have a problem with the coaches either. Or telesco. This is about Spanos. I got a lot invested in the Chargers. I cant just turn on the current players i love as well as the staff. Rooting for another team would just feel superficial to me. I have a lot of emotion invested with this team. Not the owners. They are an hour away. Still the Chargers and Blue and Gold. Only way i turn away from them is if San Diego ever got a new team. And i doubt that would ever happen.

Towards the END of a contract is when you negotiate the next 1- that's how its traditionally done throughout the business world. Just because the team started crying a few years into the 20 doesn't put any blame on the city for not trying to keep the team.

Right now I'm too pissed at Dean Spanos to answer for sure.
I don't live in SD and never have, but I adopted the town as my weekend getaway long ago, and have many friends there who will be devestated if their Bolts leave.
I'm with them.Dean Spanos Should Get Ass Cancer Of The Ass!

So, to the extent that I would even be an NFL fan, I would still favor the Chargers over any other team, LA or no LA. Changing allegiance to another team would be out of the question and a waste of time.

The only reason I'm a Chargers fan is because I was born/raised in SAN DIEGO. My aliegieance starts and ends with location. This being said, I would have a much easier time with them moving to Toronto or Council Bluffs Iowa as Los Angeles is the Devil to me.
In the end, I didn't choose to be a Chargers fan, nor did I choose to be born in SD... but when your born in SD, your a Chargers/Padres fan... just the way I was raised.
