Guyton bailed him out on an underthrown ball. Herbert was not great today and that’s good news because we still won going away

Campbell did much more to win today than Bosa

We’re a better team with Bosa. He helps out against the run and brings pressure without blitzes. Perhaps today’s game will help Staley find ways to help Bosa out more.

One positive about weathering the storm today and against Pitt etc is that this team doesn’t seem to choke completely when things go wrong like past chargers teams would

He’s also not healthy enough. Has had several concussions and those don’t get better. He’s very sensitive about it as well. Get rid of him now. Paid too much and won’t last. I’ll eat my words if he comes back and dominates at least one game like he did in Buffalo last season
Once again: it’s only one game. There’s a reason edge rushers like Bosa are so coveted.

Trade him and get a young replacement. He’s not gonna hold up. Get a young hungry replacement.

Today was one game after all.
agree.... and this was against the bengals......

                      • It was a good defensive adjustment to get Tillery off of the field on first downs and running downs.

The defense was much tighter and more aggressive today. It looked a lot better.

Yes, Davis did get beat deep once, but we stopped a bunch of drives today by being more aggressive and our run defense actually looked fully normal ( at least medium good) when Tillery was not in the game.

The deep passing game was huge for us today. There is no reason at all why have not been using it like we did today. This was Lombardi's best game as the OC of the Chargers. The results probably should have been even better but for screw ups by Palmer and Parham, which prevented a 50 burger today.

It was not perfectly thrown, but Palmer should have made the play.
