While I think Barkley will be better recovered and more explosive next year.... That would be his age 25 year in his contract up going into 26 age year therefore I would not resign him. I would rather spend that $7 million dollars in cap space as part of the pool of money to upgrade lines, cornerback corps, and edge depth.

Chargers have been very fortunate that Ekeler has been healthy this year.

Passing on Barkley is fine (he might even not be available): you'll still have to ante up to get a decent back to complement Ekeler.
Thinking that you'll just grab some running back after the 2nd round might succeed; more than likely it will not.

lol....

only issue is this season under stalely, chagers have lost badly to every team with a veteran DC and good to great defense..... our offense has basically been shut down by them.....

all of our wins have been high scoring games against bad defenses in which we barely beat them mainly because we had ball last and (herbert and receivers)made multiple clutch offensive plays.....

question is... how good is giants defense????.... if they are good or better, we will likely struggle.....

I don’t think the Raiders or Bengals defense are bad. They were pretty decent to good actually. WFT too.

I can't believe Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm has so many fans here shook and looking for the covers. How will you guys handle this team taking on playoff teams in January this season? If Staley and Herbert are on their game, the Giants are dead in the water.
