I think Renfrow is a much more accomplished WR than Johnson, but I would actually be much more concerned about matchup issues with Jackson, Johnson and Jones on the field than I would be with Renfrow, Jackson and Jones on the field.
Also, literally nobody has claimed that Johnson is the best WR in the NFL.
And yes, it was a mistake for us to cut him, which has absolutely nothing to do with him getting cut by anyone else and never did.
Are you serious?
How much time do you think the Chargers spent this week hatching schemes to try to take T-billy out of the game?:goofylol:

Here’s hoping Herbert accurate on those tight tosses with 3 defenders next to the receiver. Man…some of those are scary to watch. Like . Like…defender takes one step forward…and it’s an interception. I don’t want too many of those plays to be necessary. because Herber spreads it around.Last edited by Caslon; 01-09-2022, 01:37 AM.

The Palmer can do no wrong bullshit is really getting old. Of course he could have attempted to make a play on the ball instead of doing nothing until after the INT. In fact, Palmer has been awful on deep passes--basically an INT every time he has been targeted deep when neither pass should have resulted in an INT (because if the WR is not going to catch the ball, he can at least prevent the defender from doing so).
The real deep pass threats playing for us have caused no such INT issues when targeted. Mike Williams has been targeted 112 times--no INTs when the ball has been thrown to him. That is the most targets of any WR that has had no INTs with the ball thrown to him. There have been no INTs also when Jalen Guyton has been targeted (39 times).
Palmer is a solid reserve in the short and medium passing game, but has proven to be a liability in the deep passing game. It is laughable that some think he could possibly be a replacement for Mike Williams in the 2022 season (if Williams is not re-signed).
