There are a few guys who have really stepped up on defense this year to replace injured starters. Van Noy, Fox and Fehoko especially. But Mike Davis aka Vato may have made the biggest stride by not only replacing our big FA acquisition but playing better than nearly every CB in the league this season. He's been a huge bright spot for us.

Chiefs last 4 games... Texans, Broncos TWICE, Seahawks. Seahawks are decent. But almost lost to Denver TWICE, went to overtime with Houston. You play who you play.

We showed the NFL how to beat Tua then he got concussed again. Tennessee QB was injured in our game and has been put on IR. Back up QB in Indy and Baker Mayfield a rental QB... Now how many times have you seen a back up QB carve up a Chargers defense? Now it doesn't mean much but the track is the right one. Beat the teams you should beat.

Those teams suck. Denver will be a good test because they played Chiefs closely 24-27 and Russ Wilson has something to prove.

Wilson knows if he can go out a winner over Chargers in the last game it will make his entire offseason 1000x better.

Its not just who you play but when you play them. We lost to the Jags but the Jags got smoked by the Texans and the Lions. That was not the same team that beat the Chargers. The Titans were in 1st place when we played them and they were much healthier than they are now, the Dolphins have played much better against the Bills then they did against the Chargers.

The link and the point does not hold too much water once you look into it. Its one of those things that look good from 30,000 feet but once you get close up it just starts to fall apart.

That’s a fair rationale. The guy that tweeted that is a big Charger fan so I guess he’s just putting it out there.

of course none of it matters. All that matters is how we perform in the post season.
