    Just like any other team...

Big difference is the 1st "if". Not every team has: Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Justin Herbert all at once...
I would argue that there are more “ifs” to consider:
IF we get most of our best players back.
And IF the coaching staff stops making bad decisions, calling bad/predictable plays, and gets their squads to be consistent.
And IF the defense plays better than it has all year.
And IF we develop a running game.
And IF we can stay healthy from there.
And IF we have some luck.
THEN we can compete with any team.

Every team has injuries. That’s why you hire a competent GM to fill your roster with talented backups versus excuses for losing!
We pretty much dominated the Raiders (up by 2 scores a majority of the game)... even though we had no JC Jackson and Keenan was out half way through the 2nd quarter.
No Keenan vs. the Chiefs. We were tied or ahead through the 3rd quarter... going up by 14... until the dreaded 99-yard pick six. By this time, we're already down Linsley and Keenan.
Jacksonville was our 1 bad loss. Of course we have no Keenan or Linsley. Add Bosa to the IR by the end of the 1st quarter... then add Slater in the 3rd...

And like I said before... give me a few of these injured players back... we can beat anyone.

You guys realize that we were 1:50 away from beating the #1Power Ranking team... without Mike "Chief Killer" Williams...?
It's time to trade in that "Whiney-Wendy" persona for a new "Back-bone Billy"...

If we lose to the Cards or Turds... I'll back off.

I'd save all the "Hair-On-Fire" posts... but that would take weeks of work...

And what IF the coaching staff is making "predictable" play-calls based on limited HEALTHY personnel...?
And what IF the defense has a lead and their #1 pass-rusher back...?
And what IF you get your #2 RB back and don't have to rely on a smallish RB to carry the whole load...?

Lots of ifs. And lots of losses and bad performances over the past 2 seasons.

Seattle was a bad loss too. Backbone Billy

almost defeated the Super Bowl champion Bucs, almost defeated the AFC champion Chiefs, almost beat the formidable Saints.:facepalm1:

Almost does not mean that you are close to being a top level team.

No need to save them, they'll still be around as the season comes to an end.

                          Don't worry!
