What do you make of K9 getting all those snaps @ LVR ?
Are we moving on from Kyzir for financial reasons or whatever ?
Just trying to figure out the mind of Staley.

Kyzir was much better than Murray. I'd rather pay him and trade Murray even if it gives us a dead cap hit. But can be spread over 2 seasons and if we can get a 3rd for him he would be on the next plane out.

Staley isn’t the genius we all made him out to be. Huge error. Another mistake by the coach that likely kept us out of the playoffs. There is no justification for it

So basically the same as Lynn’s last year after the OL overhaul?

We got better on offense with the OL overhaul. But it feels like we were still a year away from competing due to all the holes on our roster after 2020. Popper unfortunately was right in his preseason prediction. That’s on Telesco with all the holes we still had prior to Staley’s arrival, and he needed to be fire after 2020 also.

Seems like a stupid rule. The hit was during the play and should be a first down but as I've said many times, there are too many stupid rules now which hurts the game.

I agree. It happened during the play. But a fraction of a second where the ball touches grass and it changes who gets the ball.

So would a really jerkface DC try to exploit the rule and tell his team. The moment the ball hits the ground on 4th down. I want you to blast the shit out of their QB. Because we still keep the ball. And it will be 1st down and 10 for us. We just lose 15 yards to jack up their key player.

I don’t think we’ll trade Murray. He’ll get at least another year with Staley. I’m sure they’ll try to keep Kyzir.

Yeah, he shouldn’t have inserted Murray into White’s role. It made sense if he was taking snaps from Tranquil, who was still nursing an injury. But that was the worst time to experiment with White and Murray.
