That's a win. No matter how you slice it.

Ugly win. Lots of times/ways we tried to give the game away. We benefited from a lot of their f-ups.

But given the ridiculous injury situation

    ...two healthy WRs
...two healthy OL (Who is Wiggins?)
    ...no Gates
    ...no starting CB

    and I'm prob forgetting some...

It's a win. We don't look great so far. I struggle with McCoy. I hate Pagano's no tackling approach to D and want him fired last preseason. But we're 2-2. We got it done. Now, hopefully we can get healthier and move on to bigger and better things.

The number of injured players on the chargers has to be an nfl record for 4 games.

Two straight years of OL injury like we've had is just impossible. And it's only week 4.

But the defense has no excuses. Relatively healthy and they still can't stop shit.

No Verrett. No Flowers for most of the game. No Addae. No Tourek Williams. No Kavell Conner. Relatively healthy compared to what? Our offense?

Flowers, Verrett and Addae are always dealing with something it seems. I put their injuries into the "given" category.

Agreed (also no Mager and later no Phillips) but there's still no excuse for the disappointing pass rush because the pass rushers are healthy. They did get more pressure today but Josh freaking McCown lit them up so obviously the pass rush is very suspect.

This really has to be a record for players who are out though lol.

Late in the game Perryman was in for Butler was it because of injury or bad play by #56???

Injuries are part of the game. We don't have depth, and that's an indictment on the GM, who looks more and more like AJ with each passing year.

I hope it was the latter. 56 needed to be benched two games ago.

Butler should have been benched years ago after that stupid look-at-me celebration while the Lions were busy eliminating us from the playoffs. Butler isn't a team player. It didn't surprise me his play took a shit as soon as he got his big payday.
