Stupid uniform number. I don’t care if that was his college number. #9 is a QB or punter or place kicker or receiver uniform number.

The league changed it so that numbers aren't limited to certain positions. A few teams have retired many of their players numbers and it can get complicated.

I liked seeing Murray in 56 better though.
