Coryell getting into the HOF is a triumph of Dan Fouts’ perseverance. He wouldn’t let it go like a dog with a bone. He kept Coryell’s name alive when it otherwise would have faded. Fouts knows he wouldn’t be in the HOF himself without Coryell. This is how you show it Dan!!

Big win for the Coryell descendants, big win for Dan Fouts and big win for the Charger faithful. We know Don Coryell belongs in the HOF and now he is there.

I watched some of it. They had a video of Dan but the induction speech was from Don’s daughter who did a fine job. But I wish they would have let Fouts do it.

Don Coryell should have been in the HOF ages ago and would have been great to do it when he was alive. But at least he is there now, with Madden and Fouts.
