The victory of the underdog tonight was thrilling. I could feel myself shaking with excitement inside as the Padres got closer to winning.. They defied conventional expectations with what they did tonight.

Sadly, this kind of thing doesn't happen in professional football anymore. The NFL won't let the underdog win in a big playoff game. Most people who watch football regularly, if they're honest, know this to be true. If the Jaguars, for instance, were playing the Steelers in the AFC Championship game, do you think the referees would allow the Jaguars to win? Or do you think they would throw penalty flags at crucial moments, when the Jaguars were in a position to put the game away?

At this point, the NFL favors the teams which have the largest fan bases. The outcome of many important games, if a marquee team is playing, is predictable. There is no room in the NFL for what we saw happen in baseball tonight. The referees have too much power, and the NFL micromanages for profit

Also Kim isn't Tatis at the plate but he has been solid in the field and has improved his bat. Could be our MVP save for Machado.
