Given the Chiefs game is on a Thursday, I'm thinking he's held out for both. Obviously this sucks but it could be a whole lot worse, just look at how the Buccs offense is falling apart while Brady was on vacation. The Raiders O-Line has looked pretty terrible in preseason, hopefully we can get enough pressure on Carr to simplify things for our secondary while JC is out.

I just think we all need to be prepared. If we're banged up, and we're still working out the kinks, then 0-2 is very possible. However, we *should* be able to take the Texans and Jaguars in games 3-4. Key word is *should*; see Texans, 2021.

I don't think this team is going to be able to take ANYONE lightly in 2022. If we start 0-2 and then - God forbid - drop one to the Texans or Jags...well...this place is going to EXPLODE. Staley's job will be as good as gone; Telesco will be skewered; calls for the Spanos' to sell the team will be legion.

This place is nothing if it's not entertaining, however.
