That's why he had the surgery, yes.

If the arthroscopic procedure had revealed 'damage', the recovery period would be longer than 2-4 weeks.

Just relax. It was a tweek they scoped it and from what it sounds like he is fine. The incision is less than an inch wide. We also have a very deep DB group. We have all world Derwin back. Mack and Bosa aren't going to allow 7 step drops. I think linebacker play will be more of a factor on short crossing routes.

I think our D is going to be beastly. If they are even just average that is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than last year.

It's the special teams coverage that is a little alarming to me.

If he injured the ankle in practice, well those things happen. But there is no report of an injury, it's all of the sudden he's having a procedure that could've been done months, weeks ago. Why now, and cause him miss the first two games of the season? It doesn't make sense.
