To win today, we really needed the D to step up and force a couple of turnovers or at least make Lawrence uncomfortable. Instead we had zero turnovers, Lawrence passed 39 times and we got zero sacks and only 2 QB hits. Yes, they got winded by being out there so much but to give up scores on 7 straight drives (sans the kneel down) is just beyond pathetic.

And the O, while Herbert showed toughness, we really needed to establish the running game. And our RBs ran 11 times for 19 yards.

Losing Slater and Bosa for any length of time and this season could get even uglier.

The Spanos" are an unscrupulous bunch who will retain a HC for too long as long as a reasonable bottom line in ticket sales are met. That is and has always been their MO.

Chargers preseason showed the team has no depth. When starters get injured its a steep falloff in talent. Telesco can’t build a bench.

Simple. Watch any game in which the Chargers aren't playing.

Staley must be grilled over this performance.

This leaves vs Houston in 2021 in the dust.

As PBB said, it is now a pattern and a crisis of our team psyche.

Injuries must be mentioned, but we must ask, is "Chargering" a thing of the past or not ?
It’s not. It’s even worse now. Staley is in over his head. Team is flat. Shouldn’t have played Herbwrt and then at least we could say well they didn’t play Herbert. Team is soft and uninspired. Nobody gives a damn on that sideline. Embarrassing. Has Staley lost the team already?

Chiefs lose, Chiefs lose, Chiefs lose.
Chargers. Most lopsided loss today in the NFL.

when your plan for backup OT is Storm Norton and back up edge rusher is Chris Rumph - just sayin

                        • Well, if Guyton's knee is a prolonged injury, we have absolutely nobody with deep speed. I think Will Fuller is still out there as a free agent. Maybe we can sign him.
