When you give 100 yards to a RB
And you can't have 30 yards net on the ground
You just can't win a game

Look at Josh Allen at the end of the Buffalo/Miami game - the dude was beside himself. For losing in week 3. Sometimes your teammates need to see some emotion.

This isn't a criticism of JH as much as a concern that I hope he hasn't simply resided himself to "oh well, we're just the Chargers, this is what we do." I hope it hasn't defeated him already.
He’s always been like this which is why he got labeled as a QB who couldn’t lead.

I will add on the Michel interception and the JAX 50 yd run TD this team looked as bad as it ever has. You just don't see playoff teams allowing those sorts of plays. I think we are a 9-8 team again if Bosa and others are out for any length of time. They never learn.

          more Steichen....
At one point Jalen Hurts had more 30-yard completions than Wentz had actual completions!
and this one is for Ninja....
DeVonta Smith had eight catches for 169 yards and a touchdown.

            I know, I know.

And like I said, it's not a knock on him. The whole team at the end just looked defeated. I shouldn't just focus on JH. I'm sure nobody enjoyed that.

I was laughing at Andy Reid today. He came up with some whoppers today. A fake field goal that failed even.

Raiders probably rethinking not keeping Bisaccia.

Thank you Chargers organization, for allowing the Jaguars to add to our eternal humiliation:

                      Mark Davis for ya.

I read that it was John Spanos who jettisoned Anthony Lynn, and who touted the idea of hiring Staley.

the Falcons finally came away with a win on Sunday and they did it by riding the back of Cordarrelle Patterson. The suddenly unstoppable running back gashed up Seattle's defense with 141 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

I was a Steichen supporter before the Chargers moved on from him. He was certainly imperfect, but there were some nice things he did also.

I also have to admit that I was first wanting Meyer, then afterwards, Staley. Although, I lost confidence in him last season when he went for it inside his own 20 in the third quarter of that Raiders game. WTF?!? There is no way data analytics would have driven that kind of decision without weighing the risk too.

Last year’s defense was not a good scheme fit for many of the players, but with that said, I still expected better on that side of the ball. I liked what Lombardi did last year while implementing a very different offense, but this year the offense has regressed. The loss of Keenan Allen has hurt no doubt.
