I've come to the conclusion that Staley doesn't believe what he's seeing. He said he trusted our defense. I ask, why? They've been poor for most of the game. When they hired him I thought he'll learn but now I don't think he will. He has blinders on! In his mind our defense is good but on the field they are bad and he doesn't see it. I'm tired of hearing him say 'that's on the coaches and we've got to fix it'. We need a whole new coaching staff, imo.

This was pure and simply a lucky win. Both offense and defense worked to damn hard to gamble on a forth and 2 when your leading by 2 , the other team has no time outs and you leave them within field goal territory. Dumb Dumb Dumb

Yet he didn’t believe those same defensive players could stop Brissett if they kicked and pinned him back at his 20 yard line?

            Staley is mouthing inconsistent bullshit.

A lot of analytics misconceptions are being displayed here,
fueled by false outrage over the fact the Chargers did not win in the manner desired.

Style points are for pottery class.

We are destroying "chargering" with unconventional warfare.

The chatter that Staley has lost the locker room will soon be replaced by the realization that he is ultimately a players coach,
and has supreme confidence in our players.

And a hug from Khalil Mack.
              Get on the plane.
We do not play modern football.

not unless the analytics said that the kicker would miss..... lol

Yeah Keenan was sure impressed with the coaching, a captain and longest tenured Charger

We won 3 games late so far that in years past we likely lose. The D came up with big plays late to win the Raider game. We had a long drive at the end of the Texan game to ice the win. We won today.

I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day. We are a beat up team missing a lot of very good players and some playing hurt and yet are in the playoff mix.

I think the Browns did us a favor by passing so often. We couldn't stop those two RB's of theirs but they often quit running and passed instead. It appears our staff isn't the only one to make poor decisions.
