Herbert is undefeated against the Broncos at home, but winless in Denver. Even in the losses in Denver, Herbert has moved the ball well against the Broncos' defense.

In Nov 2020 his stat line was 29/43 278 yds 3 TDs 2 INTs. That was the game the Chargers built a big lead, only for the defense to give it up to Lock.
In Nov 2021 his stat line was 28/44 303 yds 2 TDs 2 INTs. The game turned when Ekeler let a pass go off his hands into Surtain's arms, who returned it for six.

Lynn gave that 2020 game away with a very bad case of the run runs, absolutely snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

First of all, nice that we escaped last game with no major injuries.......I hope Allen will be back, I haven't checked the latest.

Defense: Bolts just have to tackle better, even though both Brown backs are really tough........Damn, watching football this week, noticed many safety blitzes ansd some corner blitzes that were quite effective ....Bolts only do that with James maybe once a game, looking for more..Actually would like to see a corner other safety blitzes we need James back there....Staley/Hill schemes just haven't been effective, I'm not impressed......Rumph seems invisible out there, we need to try something else.....what the hell does Van Noy do?, invisible too..Hopefully more Covington on run plays too.

Also, I believe the interception by Gillman was the first fricken time all year Bolts didn't allow points in the red zone all year, not good.

Seems like Lombardi called a good game........ however, the red zone offense has been a problem all year, we need more creativity to put 7 on three board....Parham targeted once, maybe 2 times?

OT......Not sure why the Chiefs didn't target Kelcy 25 times for 8 TD's....the Raiders just refused to cover him! LOL.....The Raiders D is just horrible, including many Charger castoffs.
can't believe Bolts didn't score 40+ against them.

This would be an ideal game to give Woods some playing time. Wilson has a shoulder injury and his deep ball is pretty shot. We need our young guys to get some experience against old hurt qbs.

Whats weird is they started out dominate...but the Chiefs adapted, and the Raiders couldnt adapt with them. Mahomes looked shell shocked...but then Kelce must have went into Predator cammo mode, cuz the turds couldnt find him until the ball was in his hands....smh

When the Raiders were up 17-0, I knew they were not going to win the game. They're the Raiders.

With Woods tackling being a work in progress, having him at the back end of the D seems to be a recipe for giving up some long runs. With NAS not locking down the job, it will be interesting if he gets a shot at more playing time or if this will just be a learn how to be a pro year for him.

First half, the Raiders used Crosby and others to jam and redirect Kelce. He never got a clean release. It messed the Chiefs up bad. But Andy Reid is a good OC (sorry Bienemy) and second half he used motion to give Kelce better release and the Raiders did not adjust. Raiders lost Waller to hamstring (we know about those) and Adams should be suspended for what he did after the game. Chiefs always seem to face teams when they have critical players out while the Chiefs are always healthy. Waller playing maybe makes the difference last night. Just like Keenan this year or James last season.

Staley has started a movement in the NFL with all the 4th downs, going for two, etc. Stefanski is a copy cat. Harbaugh is even following his philosophy. Joshy used it well sometimes but other times like the 2 point caused some questions. Staley is changing the NFL. Lotsa people don't like it because it is not 'what you are supposed to do'. Someone here once posted that a punt is a turnover. That makes a lot of sense.

Second time this season they blew a 17-0 lead.

Biggest concern today for the Broncos is that they are the classic wounded animal, and the hot white spotlight is on Russell Wilson. Either he's washed, or he's just getting started. I lean to "washed up". Anyway, I think the Chargers need to win this, and minimize the the 17th game in Denver as much as possible.

Kelce said the bogus roughing the passer call helped the Chiefs to unite and rally.
