There is nothing worse for the health of this board, than bad football takes, delivered repeatedly.

I invited everyone to look in the mirror.

Sometimes, it is good to step away from the keyboard, and give others the floor.

It must be stated with humbleness, that I have had to
learn this.

Silence can be golden, and overposting is a crime against TPB.

What is a bad take? Clearly some know more about football than others, but the entire point of a public forum is to discuss, debate and argue about our team. I do agree that the repetitive attacks can get old, but there is nothing wrong with strong differences of opinion. We are all here by Fleet's grace and generosity so we need to live within the community rules which this board has that I find very reasonable.

It never occurred to me that yuba and chain were the same person but am not surprised at all and he hasn't changed. He mentioned he was a lawyer and that seems to match the tone of his posts and arguments. Cross the line and pay the price.

Never had a prob with his football takes. But that Roo thread is protected. Wether you are atheist or not nobody has permission to go in that thread and start debating it. Dont want to see it dont look. There is a rule and its posted in the members area for all to see.

He is more than welcome to come back. Shit i would even be excited to see him. I mean that with Aloha. He and i were close. Thats why i was bummed and hurt even.

Yeah, I dont know man. It isn’t that hard to avoid getting into a drawn out back and forth with CC. And Tiresome as it may be he had an opinion and wasn’t afraid to articulate it. Repeatedly. I had quite a lengthy back and forth with him after the 2016 draft as he thought Bosa would bust and Joshua Perry would be the steal of the draft. Nuff said.

But I didn’t feel like he personally attacked posters and I’ve certainly seen that from others.

I have seen plenty of comments around here recently that can easily be labeled as bad football takes, aside from whether or not I personally agree with them.

And I have remained silent.

We all have to have self awareness, and a sense of responsibilty, while expressing the free flow of ideas, with thick skin besides lol.

You'll see it for sure when hearing Popper, talk about how pervasive the negativity, for example, is.

Actually it was QSmokey who first made the comparison and in fact was calling him Yuba for a time.
CC didnt like being called Yuba and asked a few times why he was calling him that and he had never heard of this person lol.

The fact it that got the reaction it did from him should of been telling.
