I've never been down on Palmer, honestly. I just think the way he's being utilized is wrong. Short throw checkdowns and dump offs to him isn't effective as he isn't a YAC type of receiver. If you can target him in the middle intermediate zones, he's effective. I also think Bandy has been open on a lot of downs, but he isn't getting the reads, especially if he's out long or in the intermediate zones. Herbert or Lombo only seem to trust him if he's in the short areas and is being checked down to.

      Well, learned something new.
I knew this cuz it happened in the POs when mccree fumbled and the patsies got it back with a 1st down.

Point is this was no convincing win. It was a dirty win. I dont want to argue rhetorically about it

Agree on Palmer. We don't have a good open field, fast YAC reciever to be doing those WR screens.

I'm convinced it was a win.

There is this really weird take in this place that when the other team does something bad, we are lucky. I have watched the Patriots get "lucky" for 20 years - it's amazing how that happens. We again won a close game and again our ST stepped up and again our O and D did enough to win a game, yet people still complain. I marvel, thinking back at all of the losses in those close games when Lynn was our coach and our ST sucked. We seemed to have turned that corner in both areas, and the only thing people can focus on is we aren't blowing people despite having easilty the most beat up team in the league - and it looks like we lost 2 more players today.

One of these games, Herbert will take a risk and pass it long to Bandy, and he'll make an amazing ass Tyreek Hill-like catch. I don't know, I see something in Bandy even if the coaching staff doesn't yet.

let's see how this team does healthy. They played lights out against the chiefs. hopefully that's more the type of team this is. But run D still scares me cuz the chiefs are not a running team.

there was a long pass to bandy today but it was overthrown. there doesnt seem to be chemistry between him and Justin at the moment.

He tried a deep pass today and a couple last game and Bandy wasn't close to catching them. He just isn't fast enough to gain any deep separation and not physical enough to beat press coverage. He only shot to be a deep threat is a busted play. After watching him these past few games I see why the coaching staff is only using him because we have so few other options.

Maybe, but I think jubei is right, watching some of those throws, they were seemingly overthrown. Chemistry just isn't there with Herbert yet, but I still think one of these games, he'll do something amazing.

Please start Fehoko if Austin Johnson is out or going on IR.

Can the coaching staff try Brenden Jaimes at RT if Storm isn't up to task? Might be worth giving him a shot there. He didn't play well at Center after Clapp went down the last game, but that's arguably one of the hardest positions to start if you've never had snaps there before, especially in this offense. He seems pretty good as a tackle based on college tape.
