He has the physical tools and maybe mental ones as well but he doesn’t have “it”.
"it' meaning Andy Reid vs. Lombo? Mahomes didn't make any great plays on that final drive; nor did he get pressured.

First half of the game was a lot of fun. Third quarter, they get the ball with a chance to go up 2 scores and they shut the bed. And continue to shit it all 3rd quarter and half of the 4th.

was good to have Keenan back but that fumble hurt.

we can’t stop the run at all

No resistance at all in the end.

staley has been schooled by every decent coach on the schedule. Our only wins are against teams coached by other first timers or second rate guys. Just not good enough.

Staley in 2 years is competitive with Andy Reid in like over 20 years, he belongs.
upgrade your coordinators when the opportunity presents itself.
                we're fucking close!
any new HC who Spanos would realistically hire is a question mark and will set us back 2 years.

That’s why we need at least two TDs lead against KC in case the refs do their magic.

NBC put up 2 rushing stats at the start of the game broadcast indicating what KC might do on O. RYPG and YPR, We were 30th and 31st. YPR was 5.4. All these moves and I think that is the worst YPR ever but I could be wrong, you can never underestimate them.

Yep...this was a real head-scratcher for me...Bolts had Derwin on Kelce at first, then ASJ, then K9, then back to ASJ and Derwin...but at no point did I see any double coverage on Kelce...come on, man! The Chefs are down two wideouts, so you KNOW they'll be heaving the rock to Kelce frequently...SMH...there are Pop Warner coaches who could defend Kelce better than Stubborn Staley and Renaldo "Over the" Hill...

I mean, I don't really disagree with you at this point. The bright spots like Saurrett and Ficken notwithstanding, Staley hasn't been able to let go of the defensive coaches he brought in, even though, we were and are statistically near the bottom of the league in every important category on that side of the ball. If he wants to take ownership of that, then he should just resign and go be a DC for the Rams where he can concentrate on the X and Os and less on team mechanics. Lombardi doesn't even to be mentioned. I said when Staley hired him that he and the Payton-esque offense is a poor fit for Herbert and the makeup of the offensive talent that we have on the roster. Staley saying he will cater an offense on the strength of Herbert's skills still leaves a sour taste in my mouth, so I agree, that's all on Staley and it doesn't look good for him to continue as a head coach in light of that.
