Chiefs @ Chargers Game Day Thread | Post Game Reaction (Week 11)

This game, like most others, was lost in the trenches. The offensive line was horrible:

The Chiefs pass rush had the Chargers offensive line in hell for most of Sunday night. Aside from Corey Linsley, every other member of the line allowed at least three pressures while three individuals allowed at least one sack. Johnson was one of those three.

The rookie finished with three pressures allowed and a pass block grade of 23.7. I shouldn’t have to further explain just how bad that grade is when a 60.0 is seen as “average” among PFF grades.

On the season, Johnson is ranked 31st out of 32 qualifying guards in pass block grade (44.7) who have played at least 80 percent of his team’s offensive snaps this season.

In fairness, the guy had to transition to the opposite side:
he played LT and LG in college at Boston College.

That's what this organization does: put college Olinemen in unfamiliar positions starting off their career.

Good thing they kept the vet Feiler at LG for continuity.

That is the which-a-why I am advocating for the hiring of the executive that spotted Travis Kelce in the first place, Mike Borgonzi, as Chargers' new GM in 2023.

Thats right in the cheap fucks Spanos budget. So therefore i say no. Get someone established who has won.

But the guy that wrote "I'm just fed up." is not the same Boltjolt that I almost always agree with.

My choice is to sell the team and rid it of the Spanos. I know that won't happen so they won't hire anyone competent and do it their way.......which is the clueless way.

They draft Shaq Mason, RG from Georgia Tech .....and they place him at RG.

Trey Smith played some RG at Tennessee.

Name the last Charger Oline draftee who actually was placed, starting out, at his college position:
