It will take a team effort, better coaching, execution, limited mistakes

I know Staley wants to run one type of defense but he might have to adapt
Same with Lombo calling plays

It might take a fake punt to keep possession as well - when have we seen one of those

Just like Arizona - figure out how to win the game

Jacobs had a monster day last week, but also had 39 carries/receptions and has missed practice all week because of a calf strain. He is expected to play, but perhaps he won't be quite as explosive this week.

Additionally, as I opined in an earlier post, I think Staley is going to game plan the defense to focus on preventing Jacobs from having a big day and force the Raiders to rely on Carr to win the game. Carr had a decent game with 295 yds and 3 TDs, but he also threw 2 INTs. The Raiders' passing attack has been weakened by the absence of Waller and Renfrow.

Of the big names out for us, the Linsley loss concerns me the most. What a shame.

Jacobs played injured during that game and still had unbelievable rushing yards. Yikes!

Two starters from game one. Oddly, I'm not as worried as in the past. Our GM has built better OL depth than I can remember.
Lombardi & Herbert will plan the ball out in 3 sec or less on avg.
Not ideal but we can compete with the team that we have.
The Turds have their own problems.
