Preliminary biopsy results have ruled out Acute Leukemia, but it looks like there were "some Lymphonic cells". PET scan scheduled for Thursday morning.

For the board Dr's: I'm not getting the sense of any urgency from the Hematologist and he says that my daughter is "not emergent" since she is showing no other symptoms and this has probably been going on months already. He says its more important to nail down the facts before just jumping in. The Father in me says why are we waiting 3 days to do the PET scan. I want to go on the offensive and attack this right damn now! Am I wrong?

I'm not a doctor but as a parent I say Hell No!, you're not wrong. You will have to be the squeaky wheel here, keep pressing them, they are driven by dollars and statistical numbers, keep on pushing.

Thats pretty solid news Mako. When a Dr says non emergent he's not expecting cancer. At least thats what ive been told dealing with health issues for the last 3 years. But i hear you in regards to being a father and wanting it done now. Id do the same. Ive never heard of Lymphonic cells. Lymphocytic cells i have.
