OT: NFL Sunday Ticket moves to YouTube starting next season

Posting this here because people aren't really using the NFL General Discussion Forum.

This story has the NFL's official announcement:

Google and NFL officially agree to bring NFL's 'Sunday Ticket' to YouTube

    https://sports.yahoo.com/google-and-...142852260.html

I'm glad because I would pay to have access to this service (assuming it's still around the $300 it used to be). I got Sunday Ticket for several years when I had DirecTV, but couldn't get it after I moved in with my elderly mother to help her out.

...may give me incentive to upgrade to Cox Gigablast + YouTube TV.

Great, I'm using YouTube TV already but I'm sure it's going be like $30 a month extra for Sunday Ticket. I'd rather keep RedZone in that case.

Since I moved to Nashville and don't get the local Charger broadcasts, I have been using the Sunday Ticket U since my son was in medical school. Good timing, though I'm sure it will cost a lot more than the $99 I was paying.

Youtube TV? LOL, why are they getting involved? They also paid a lot of money for it and its said they wont make any profit from it. I dont know anyone who has Youtube TV.

Also gotta say, Prime Ticket( since we talking about out of the norm broadcasts) Thursday night games are kinda boring. Not the games itself but their broadcast. They have the crowd noise turned way down and you can hardly hear it even when they say "it is loud here". Just takes away from the atmosphere.

              Ive never had Sunday Ticket.

I know a lot of people that have YouTube TV and are saving big $$ over cable. However, I heard you don’t have to be a YouTube TV subscriber to get their new Sunday ticket. You’ll just pay that separately.

I had it once when I lived in MI. My BFF there at the time had a sat dish and he put it on his system for me (I gave him back $ but he didnt ask me to). He was a die hard hoarse-throat GO BLUE freak, UofM alum raised in MI. He didn’t mind watching a pretty shitty Charger team because Harbaugh was our QB those 2 yrs. Really bad team in those years, but I still watched every game.

why? - because I’m a lifelong Charger Fan

That's what I'm wondering about. Hope that's true.
