Edit: also according to ESPN it’s 4.9 ypr. So the 5.3 ypr you stated is actually not a fact.

A lot of things had to go right for the team to be in the position they are now in. All of the teams we needed to drop a game and the scenarios to play out leading to a Charger playoff spot.

Thankfully, it didn't matter, except on the stat page.

I'd have been as happy as any of us to see Herb get credited with a 47 yard TD for that play, but I'll gladly accept the win.

I never actually saw a convincing film angle. Was there one that made it CLEAR that Keenan touched chalk?

Did the refs blow the whistle? I don’t think so but that would have prevented any replay review. I don’t remember Aikman or Buck saying the whistle blew the play dead and Keenan and the Colts DB acted like there wasn’t a whistle

No it didn't. We gave up 5 ypr. Regardless of your spin that is bad. The yards were low because they were playing from behind and didn't run. This is a concern when we face a team like CIN who can run and pass we wont be able to stop them whether you want to be all rosy about it or not.

The rushing defense was fine yesterday. The only time they got run on is when they were playing 2 deep & a light box. Anytime they wanted to stop the run they stopped it. That performance yesterday is pretty much exactly what the defense is supposed to look like. You play 2 deep at times to take away the deep stuff & entice them to run the ball.
