and Foles played the worst of any QB we have played.... Ryan could not be worse than that.....

I have to say, after all these years, this is comical.
Gillman and Coryell are turning over in their grave.
But they are happy, and their legacy lives, because it's all about the Ws.
Posters will soon run out of ammo,
in "explaining" why all these victories we stack up just aren't right.
And still, nobody gets Lombardi offense...nobody.We play modern Harball.

Coincidence? I think not.
Imagine you do your job plus extra (and get burn't doing so) because one of the guys up front won't do his job resulting in your defense taking more L's than W's.
Then imagine one day you do your job but notice there's minimal need to do extra and your defense wins more battles than it loses.
After a few weeks of the above.....Now imagine you've refined your job to the point of flourishing and the vision of your HC to Dominate is coming to fruition.

I think this is the key to the playoffs. The current Chargers offense doesn't scare anyone, or it shouldn't. One reason there are so many short patterns by receivers is that they are staying in to help block, then releasing if they can. That leaves 2-3 receivers going into the middle or deep parts of the field against five defensive players.

Herbert hit some big plays the first was called back on hold by Pipkins on that ball to Parham and had that stood Justin was about to get it rolling IMO. The second was the pass to Allen on the flea flicker and that was gas that almost knocked Keenan down and he barely stepped out otherwise that was a big one.
Gotta scrap the hurry up on third and short it never works. Take your time you have weapons call the right play.

I'm willing to believe it's a coincidence, but also willing to entertain the possibility that it's not.
No reason not to at least look into it.
and even if James being out DID have a positive effect, I'm willing to bet it has more to do with how other people respond to his absence, so I'm not knocking James, I hope that's understood.
I recognize the talent and effect he has as much as the next Chargers fan who dreamed of drafting him, but sometimes the overall system improves efficiency with lesser talents.
Whole greater than sum of it's parts.
I remember Ray Lewis talking about how Trent Dilfer was "the perfect qb" for THAT Raven's team.HAMMER TIME

Honestly, I need to look at that flea flicker, I'm not sure KA was out of bounds. Too bad we couldn't challenge that.HAMMER TIME
