haven't read the thread yet, and....
Keenan is a keeper
Herbert threw for his 70 percent, which is a game winning stat according to @least one poster here
Kelley needs to continue to be patient, 'specially when the games start to get bigger
we have an awful lotta talent on D, even without Bosa 'n Jackson
couldn't help but be reminded of Chain a time or coupla few, as we were successful passing on what looked like a running down, and successful running on what looked like a passing down
Staley is in.... for next year
and Slater is gonna help, but the guy we need in there is Linsley
and ditto for Bosa, but the guy that is our defensive MVP is Mack
the two guys that would really help w/a playoff run if they were able to step up, are Kelley and Murray, and.... still say some Reeder would be more than a little bit helpful
dare I say we might make it to the AFC championship game (against KC ?)

Los Angeles Chargers • Indianapolis Colts For the first time in his career, Justin Herbert is heading to the playoffs.
That’s because the Los Angeles Chargers dominated the Indianapolis Colts 20-3 on Monday Night Football.
At 9-6, the Chargers will officially head to the postseason for the first time in four years. Meanwhile, the Colts are currently picking in the top-five of the 2023 NFL Draft at 4-10-1.
Offensive spotlight: Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen currently has an 84.3 grade on first review, which would be his highest single-game mark since 2020. The 10th-year receiver caught 11 of his 14 targets for a season-high 104 yards, averaging 3.25 yards per route run against the Colts.
Defensive spotlight: Linebacker Kenneth Murray has looked like a bust since being drafted in the first round by the Chargers in 2020, but he had a career night against the Colts. Murray currently has a 90.1 grade on first review, which would be the highest of his three-year career so far. Murray picked up a sack on one of his two pass-rushing snaps. He also didn’t allow any catches on three targets while forcing two incompletions.
Rookie spotlight: Tight end Jelani Woods was one of the lone bright spots for the Colts offense tonight. The third-rounder from Virginia caught three of his five targets for 43 yards and a couple first downs while averaging a team-high 2.05 yards per route run.
Offensive line spotlight: The Chargers offensive line did a decent job of protecting Herbert, only allowing a pressure on 19.4% of their 36 pass-blocking snaps. Right tackle Trey Pipkins and center Corey Linsley were particularly impressive with a clean sheet on the night.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

pls recall that he was called in on a moment's notice for his first NFL game against KC.... did he look like a spotty untested rookie developmental project @QB.... didn't think so.
much more valuable/important to let him heal up some and not expose him to an injury risk, and.... ditto for Linsley, Ekeler, Bash, Mack, all three starting CBs, and Derwin.
let guys like Spiller, Horvath and Stick get some run on O, and let McKitty practice catching some live game balls.
on D, the guy that I want to see out there for 100 percent of the snaps is Troy Reeder.
far as I'm concerned, might just as well be preseason 2.0
let the (other) regulars get some run to keep them on point, and then rest 'em for our notorious third quarter and for the remainder of the game.
a game or two w/no injuries to our star/key players would be more than refreshing....ED Matayo Uiagalelei, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry

Man, watch the runs from Sproles and LT in this game, plus the INT catches by Cromartie. Damn, I remember this game and the Divisional Round game as well. Just crazy how fast and twitchy our RBs were (the cameramen could barely keep up), and how the Oline was playing then with Shane Olivea, Dielman, Hardwick, Goff and McNeill. Crazy game, but this defense in '22 is playing better than that one in '07 in the last 4 weeks -- and that '07 defense was no slouch, full of studs, top 5 defense.
