you bet there are. we barely beat the broncos in LA and lost to them in denver and that was with Paul Hackett and an interim guy. Payton will make them better. I think we all realize that. These guys don't grow on trees. We are still lamenting the fact that Andy reid wanted to come here over a decade ago. Now we have Reid and Payton to contend with twice a year each. Did you notice our record when playing against teams coached by a successful HC? It was abysmal.

Payton to the Broncos is bad news for us, no matter how one wants to spin it. We couldn't best the Raiders or the Broncos and ended up 2-4
in the division. That can't happen if we're going to make the POs next year. The schedule is a wee bit more difficult and we don't have the
luxury of fixing things through FA. We blew our wad this year and things didn't work out.
