My concern about Hunt is a bit different. He seemed to slip a lot last year. I know he had an attitude because he wanted a big deal and didn't get it and basically did what Ekeler is going to do.. played the last season of his contract because it was either that or hold out and not play for a season. But the Browns took a much harder line with him than the Chargers have with Ekeler because they have Chubb and a bunch of other really good running backs. But Hunt was not the same player last year that he has been in the past. And he might still think he is going to get big money?

Here's an article about RB Kareem Hunt.
Since his exile from the Chiefs in the aftermath of a domestic violence arrest in 2018, Hunt has spent four seasons with the Browns.
I have no idea whether-- unlike Tyreek Hill-- Hunt has redeemed his reputation, and if so, whether the Bolts would consider him an asset to the offensive backfield. As quoted in the article, he doesn't SOUND like a guy who hasn't learned anything from what he's been through.
Just putting it here as an FYI.

I haven't heard any rumors about DE Chase Young coming to the Chargers, but the guy who made this video acts like *he* has.
🚨NEW RUMOR! Chase Young To The Chargers? LA Chargers Daily News | Breakings News! - YouTube
I never trust vids with computer generated voice overs, and the content just doesn't sound credible, given the Chargers' budget limitations.

Matlock is a strange example, but here's what I mean-- I would not ordinarily think that the Chargers would implement Matlock on the occasional offensive play, the way he was in college. But I think that Kellen Moore *will* at least evaluate the idea, and if he concludes that Matlock offers some advantage that his offensive players don't, he'll explore the notion.

Not every man who gets into a DV situation is a "bad guy"-- although some certainly are. And if you think about it, I'm sure you'd acknowledge that the Chargers' roster isn't comprised of nothing but choir boys.
So personally? I don't believe that Telesco would *never* consider signing a guy who had been involved in a DV altercation.Last edited by Ghost of Quacksaw; 06-23-2023, 06:09 AM.
