Gotta have one. One bad snap can turn a W into an L. It's usually a position depth player who practices snapping on the side.

Yep. I think some are jumping the shark here in their well intended quest for backup insurance. They are not retaining multiple long snappers. Exactly as you note - They will prepare an existing player from another position to be emergency long snapper to finish a game and sign another the next Monday.

Fortunately long snappers are now protected more by rules than in the old days when a ST NT could just punch him in the jaw immediately at snap. Fuck with them now and its a 15 yard penalty

Dicker. Not that’s it really important, if we have any games being decided by a FG, Moore and our O have problems.

Apparently, Herbert can punt well enough to be the emergency punter.
Not saying it's a good idea, just impressed yet again by number 10.

They should have a game where he does it all against an opponent we're clearly beating up. I would actually enjoy the jack of all trades game. Can you you imagine AL Michaels blathering on about his crazy all around abilities.

Can you imagine TPB blowing up if he tweaked a quad while punting a ball for fun and played like shit for the next 4 weeks? Look Herbie - we know you want to do everything but the answer is no.

I wouldn't say that about one game. We play 6 games vs last year's top 10 offenses. 4 vs 2022 top 10 D's. That includes Buffalo and Dallas who were top ten O and D.
Last year 9 LAC games were decided by 3 or less. 4 W, 5 L.
I like your enthusiasm but suspect we'll need to save a few close ones just because the opponent is playing a damn good game..

You can say the same about Cameron Dicker.

IMO, one is not appreciably better than the other. One, however, *would* be considerably less expensive than the other.

That can matter when it comes to The Cap.

                          My head says Dicker
but that Jags game gives me pause.
