There is actually a sound logical reason that can be posited. The personnel decisions were thought through diligently.

I third QB would need to be able to drive the Lambo Herb's driving.

Mullen was a bit of redundancy vs ASJ. Finley has some size, and him and Layne can work in on
    Nickel/Dime looks and ST.

Muse over Horvath ties in with zero Fullback desire, and ST usefulness.

WR is obvious. Again the top 4 WRs are all fully capable of providing ample productivity.

My worry wart tendancies at TE are officially alleviated. These guys will be weapons, RZ options with some blocking. Opponents simply cannot match up with all the options we have.

OL. There is confidence in our now fully healthy bookends, hence the TE takes. Bailey is the reasonable gripe. He can still develop just as well @ PS now. Jaimes, a young vet with lots of total snaps (4 full years at Nebraska) rounds out a very young OG group.

Staley needs a certain specific type of IDL, and he now has it.

I really like improved Rumph and promising Tuli as EDGE depth.

We are cool at LB with Eric, Kenneth and Daiyan.

The RB room suits me fine. Someone is gonna pop at RB#2.

    That is all...random thoughts.
We do not play modern football.

I want to see the Chargers defense RB tackling. QB sacking and pass Intercepting so much.
Flipper & friends, come on down.

Brock Purdy. Mr. Irrelevant 2023 draft. Last man chosen. Named as the 49er’s starting QB from here on out. No comment, just…Hehe.

Chargers were not going to use Zander much on offense, OC Moore will have his TEs motion into backfield. Then he has the additional receiving threat and the ability to mix it up with multiple formations and matchup problems. Put the TE at FB/HBack but then motion them into a trips or quads stack.

Kellen is Stone Smartt to leverage the matchup advantage with personnel groupings.
Lombardi didn’t use him either. Mostly was ST and sounds like the new LB is just as good/better there?

Covington stinks....don't see why we signed him again.

Horvath cut to make room for Muse.
I guess others can play STs after all.

Damn how far some have fallen

Melvin Gordon was holding out wanting his money. He should’ve just took the deal.

Now he’s on practice squads. Shows you why some of these running backs want to get paid.

remember the days of Ladanian Tomlinson wanting to get his money. What he got paid.

                it’s a different league now.

How about just play your ass off and earn as much as you can from us or another team.
we had a good team that year and could have went far if he didn't hold out.
sure you can blame telesco for not caving to his demands but he was under contract, was respected in the locker room and could have had a special season for himself and every Charger fan here.
                    touchy subject for me, sorry.

Muse ran a 4.41 at the Combine. Wow. He was a college safety who the draft experts said would transition to LB in the NFL because he was not a great safety. Raider 3rd round pick.
