The top (bottom) half of your list has 4 Super Bowl championships and 8 Super Bowl appearances in those last 20 years.
Kind of takes the wind out of any cheering from the Charger faithful.

He's on the 40th anniversary team, also the 50th anniversary team not to mention before he became San Diego head coach he was the St Louis Cardnals head coach..

Like you said,, people look at the Super Bowl appearances and wins and never at tne success of the individual and his accomplishments. The man is an icon!

They are inducting him in as Los Angeles Chargers HOF. my opinion, Coryell should be inducted in as San Diego Chargers HOFer.
