What track record are you referring to? The one where he keeps top stars on a restructured contract to clear cap space? I don't recall much of that.

His track record of average drafts. Have to hope that going all in with this group is fortified by a good solid draft class that contributes and aren't inactive.

I think we should trade everyone who is not on a rookie deal or vet minimum. That way we win the salary cap SB every year and all players are people just trying to make it and on their best behavior. Record be dammed, that stat is for losers.

Sarcasm aside - I would have spent the money
I just would have spent on different players while also keeping cap flexibility for the next 5 years - you know - when the franchise is going to sign a big fat contract
