Were we watching the same Chargers defense last year? Dru was not the only problem but he sure as hell isn't necessarily the solution

I think he was pretty good in pass coverage and blitzing but he was less than desired in the run game. That doesn't mean he isn't better than Murray but that bar is pretty low

As for Parham - I am sure pretty much a minimum level deal. No guarantees of even making the roster

Here’s hoping Parham has a better year. He has flashed in the past. Lombardi didn’t know how to exploit him in the red zone.

So many times in the red zone I’d say, why is Parham on the bench and not in the lineup? A chimpanzee could scheme better than Lombardi.

Im still hoping TE is the #1 pick. Fouts/Winslow. Rivers/Gates.

If the plan is to draft TE and release Everett, does this tip the value towards the in-line blocking power aka Washington, over the downfield threat Kincaid? I wonder … what does Moore want?

I havent seen him taken by 21 in any of the mocks I’ve read. The majority of mocks have Bijan gone before 21. I see Zay Flowers to LAC most often in mocks. One had Mayers, one (CBS) has Bijan. One had some DT I’ve never heard of, which I will bet $1000 will not happen.

It sounds like the team didn't have any problems with the contract discussions, so no need for the RFA tender. Glad he's still a Charger.

This is not uncommon with guys that have question marks and are
going into RFA, and it’s fair to the players because they get to test the market…frankly I’m surprised with his concussion history if he finishes the season, the chargers probably understand the risk that he might be on IR most of the year and then retire next year like adderly did…did anyone else show interest in signing parham?

This signing changes nothing, they’re still drafting a TE in the first 3 rounds of this draft, it would be unwise for them not to…

OT, CB, Edge, and TE are the strongest positions in this draft…I can see the chargers drafting any one of multiple combinations of these positions in the first two days of this draft…

I like Parham and share the frustrations some have penned here about him missing from our red zone packages. The dude is a jump ball wet dream that a guy like Justin could feed 10 to 12 times a season. I would rather have seen that then some of the plays we ran. Hopefully the concussions are behind him and he can throw up something like a 500+, 10 TD, 40 catch season. That would be a bargain at his price. Time will tell.
