I had Henley on my draft card before the draft. I had Flowers over QJ, he would have been a fabulous pick but QJ is a Charger now and I support him. QJ is developing very well now imo. Sorry he wasnt ready day 1, hope you can recover from the pain

Telesco had 11 years and built a solid track record of being able to build an AVERAGE roster. Average as never the worst and never champion caliber. Some hits, some misses, some gems and a lot of mistakes. He had 11 years and 3 coaching regimes to try. I knew after 5 yrs he would never build a championship team. He’s now blessedly flailing in Vegas, what is your TT point, exactly?
Nearly everybody had Flowers over QJ. But, as you said, there's is nothing we can do about it now. QJ was drafted for his traits and was considered a development pick that might take a year or two. Well, he's starting to develop... yet all we get is griping and complaining still. Some guys... it's all they have left.

New regime, new philosophy now. Run the ball, protect the QB, and play defense. And Henly certainly allows us to play defense. It seems like a good thing. This is a guy even Debbie Downer should enjoy.
    Protect the QB
    Run the ball
    Play great defense

In QJ's defense he's got more TD's than Flowers this season whilst playing 4 less games.

I’m glad to see him coming on. you can see he’s getting happy and feeling like he’s adding to the team, just like last year you could see the weight of disappointment in his eyes. He’s a really good young man, as a person, the kind of kid I want to root for.

Henley with 94 solo tackles already. Also not many of the tackle 3 yards too late variety. Can't wait to get the other rookie LB from Michigan back next season.

If Minter leaves can't we steal Michigan's current DC Keep the same system!!!

That would be Wink Martindale, so no thanks. I would bet that when Minter leaves, Clinkscale is next up.

The descriptor is a bit misleading, this vid is about players who are really good but have not earned recognition yet. Daiyan Henley is profiled starting @9:33 and this guy really talks him up. This is the final year of Henley's rookie contract, the Chargers are gonna want to pay Henley, right?

Excited to see what he can do this season. Last season was rough on him losing 12 lbs during the season
