he is really coming on. Still see the rookie in him on some plays, i'm thrilled at how quickly he's picking it up - LB is a tough position as it really requires a lot of read, react, decide, and do it all very fast and don't get it wrong!

He'll continue to learn and improve - really nice progress from Game 1 - Game 3 though. He was the Tier-2 ILB that I wanted them to draft.

Yep, his growth from the first to third game was great to see. TT might actually have drafted a very good player in round 3.....

Simms had him as his #1 linebacker. That would put him at least a mid second rounder. We got two second round draft picks in this draft.

Tom Telesco drafts were always "wait, and see". I rarely had confidence that he had somehow identified the gold nugget in the turd pile.

If we're talking about Day 2 picks, I'd say that Telesco usually drafted guys who were good athletes, with the measurables you want. But they were far more often guys like Jerry Attaochu, Manti Te'o, Craig Mager, Max Tuerk, Forrest Lamp, Dan Feeney, and Chris Watt than they were like Keenan Allen, Josh Palmer or Tuli.

So on the day that Henley was drafted, I thought that he looked the part. But I can't say I expected what we've seen from his this season.

Last year I remember wondering who Henley must have pissed off, to have ended up riding the pine.. The defense was awful, but... there was no room for Henley? WTF?!?

My opinion of him was high... several months before we drafted him.

the way i remember drafts: we could draft Lawrence Taylor and Joe Montana, and half the forum would complain. there were still people complaining about Alt vs. Nabers until a few weeks ago.

Hopefully you had someone's hand to hold through that terrible ordeal. You were yearning for popularity and acceptance, and didn't get it. It's painful to watch you suffer like this. Could you please do your suffering in private, moving forward?

QJ has been having a strong second campaign, proving that he's a legit NFL talent. But now-- according to *you*-- if fans were supporting QJ they were "making excuses". The comment from your teacher on your 3rd grade report card said you had difficulty making friends, didn't it?

We understand you now. You're jealous that you were deprived of the opportunity to fanny slap. You're like the child on the playground who picks fights, and then runs home to mommy crying about how nobody is nice to you. When life gives you tough buns? Learn to make croutons, son!

I had him on my draft card before names were called. He was at the top of my Tier 2 ILB prospects. One of my rare good calls.

I had Henley on my draft card before the draft. I had Flowers over QJ, he would have been a fabulous pick but QJ is a Charger now and I support him. QJ is developing very well now imo. Sorry he wasnt ready day 1, hope you can recover from the pain

Telesco had 11 years and built a solid track record of being able to build an AVERAGE roster. Average as never the worst and never champion caliber. Some hits, some misses, some gems and a lot of mistakes. He had 11 years and 3 coaching regimes to try. I knew after 5 yrs he would never build a championship team. He’s now blessedly flailing in Vegas, what is your TT point, exactly?
