I think we actually have a pretty solid and deep RB group. With an upgraded running scheme, we will be much better at ball control, short yard conversion and it will make our play action passing that much more effective.

Dotson only got 6 touches again, I expected he would get more looks but today was Stick day, they wanted to see a lot of Stick and he was up and down, up and down...a lot of us here didn't like the duggan pick either, listening to what the guys said that john spanos said in his interview about scouting Easton in person is sickening as fuck and it illustrates exactly what I've been saying for years, it's not Telesco, and it doesn't matter who they hire, whoever is Charger's GM will always have to work with a huge handicap as long as the fucking Spanos own the team...why fluff your feathers over a guy that hasn't done shit in 5 years and that your daddy allowed you to bring back into the building? clearly NO ONE was trying to sign Stick, for fuck's sake! Stick signed a vet minimum deal at the height of free agency when players have the most leverage to get multiple teams to bid for their services...

Yep, agree. He should have caught the second one. BUT, I thought Dot did run pretty well up the middle this game...I noticed there were NO outside sweeps by him this game...it's like the Bolts wanted to find out how well he did up the middle...and to catch...grade of B running up the middle, D on catching the rock...I still think they need to keep him on the final 53...let me put it this way: Would any of u like to see the Raiders, Chefs or Donks poach Dot off the PS? Thought so...

And if a team poaches a PS player, I believe the rule still is they must have him on their roster all season.

That alone keeps teams from poaching unless they really need a player.

I like your list. Spiller seems to have a lot of upside with his burst. i am really hoping that Spiller and JT Woods can start to have an impact this season.

I think fans always overestimate the quality of the players on their favorite team's practice squad. It's not like teams raid another teams squad very often.

I hope that Moore shelves the weird, delayed toss play he ran to Kelly in the shadow of our own goal line. The delay just gave the defenders who were already in place more time to surround Kelly and Kelly is the absolute wrong kind of back to make that play go. It's preseason for offensive coordinators, too, I guess.

I think it's telling that Hrovath got to sit yesterday like he's a fucking vested veteran on this team, LOL...Dotson is not going to make the roster, they are not going to cut Horvath, we'll be seeing Dot do his thing elsewhere unfortunately...

This goes back to Johnny meddling with the personnel decisions, it wouldn't surprise me if he personally scouted Horvath at Purdue much like he said he did with Easton on that interview, UGH...it's hard enough for coaches and GMs to build winning teams and contend against other organizations for a title without having that giant fucking albatross around their collective necks...

Interesting take...sure hope it's not true that Baby Spanos meddled here, but wouldn't be surprised...if they're so concerned about losing Horvath's ST abilities, no worries...we have a heck of an ST tackler in Mullen...problem solved!

he runs stronger too. I think he's building his case for RB2, needs one more solid showing.

I like Dotson but I don't think he did enough to get into the 53 yet. One more chance. Or who knows - coaches always surprise us with 2 or 3 roster spots every year.

I almost think the Bolt brass may be trying to hide Dot from being poached, by NOT dialing up any more sweeps like in the Rams game...I get that they wanted to see if he can run inside, and I thought he did pretty well...not so good catching the rock...

Based on two preseason games I can't see one PS bound player who has stood out enough to draw interest from other teams, and that includes Dotson.
