Any consensus on the last couple of roster spots?

Yeah, I think you are right.

Agree...Stick looked good vs. the Rams, but then the Rams D isn't all that great this year...I'm still concerned about his weak arm...if he does have to start, opposing defenses will crowd closer to the short and intermediate zone, because they know he can't throw long, at least not accurately...if we can upgrade, let's keep our eyes open...

I realized last night I know his mother, she's a TV journalist in the East Bay and I had some dealings with her from time to time during my career from which I am now retired.

I keep hearing Bynum is a real prospect and I think he started this game? But I am not sure what he is showing.

Doss has the potential to be a mismatch vs defenders
His size and moves are that of a tweener wr/te.
There's nothing elite about him, but lastnight, he got open against a good, small CB (name escapes) for a catch.
No real upside but he's a dependable target.

I'd like to keep Mullen--dude is a beast on ST tackling. I really like Farmer. Matlock is a lock. Jacquet had a nice pass breakup on that TD throw. That last WR spot will be tough to decide on, but Doss sure showed a lot. I like Dot, but it's iffy for him with those drops. Honestly, I'd rather cut Horvath or send him to PS (if he qualifies) and keep Dot.

I think we are stuck with Stick this season as a back up, just cross our pinkies he never has to come in for Herbert for more than a play or two or to mop up late in the 4th if the Bolts have a 4 TD lead. But next season they need to get a real back up, a veteran who can run an offense and has a decent arm. I really don't want to see Chase again. He's going on 37 and he looked chubbed out and out of shape his entire time backing up Herbert. Let him retire in peace, the dog is done lol.

Keep five WRs, Doss, Hightower et al to the PS; Dot to the 53. A sixth WR is inactive on game days, the PS WRs won’t get poached IMH and can be called up during the week if need be.

I read a few pieces about Mullen before TC started, that he has potential to be a Verrett-like CB but he's raw and needs development.

Good idea there, Blue...Doss and Hightower a lot less likely to get poached than Dot...
