rushers in the league, nothing new there. The Titans offense won the game by two huge long passes, not the run. Our D cannot stop the run or pass. Our offense
cannot convert on 3rd downs. These are the problems that need immediate solutions. The Titans were not the problem, we were.
Well, Duhhhh! No brainer there that you have to out compete to win football games!

Looking at that play both Linebackers stayed and the safety converged very quickly. The Running back might have made the 1st down if the safety didn't come all the way up that quickly. Some how Herbert didn't sell the change very well.

Harbaugh played for us, coached at USD.
Was rumored that he said he wanted this job and when Staley didn't get canned, he then told Michigan he was coming back..

Harbaugh to the Rams would be him choosing Kroenke over Spanos. I don't see any other reason, with Donald and Stafford closer to retirement.

That was last year. McVay just re upped and looks to. E having fun coaching a team that is exceeding expectations. He’s a good coach

Offense isnt the problem, He’s averaging 30 pts per game. I posted in a different thread - the Chargers have systematically put Herbie in the most “must deliver” situations of all of the top QBs and thats why he’s getting singled out. He has the same success rate as most of the Top QBs, slight better than Burrows.

The problem is defense. Why our DBs suddenly are not covering any receivers is beyond mystifying to me. They are fucking not even covering them. Some twitter troll posted a pic to illustrate how bad it is. there were just 2 Titan receivers running routes vs 5 DBs - and both were wide open, one of them caught a big pass for about 15 yards and a first down. Just 2 fucking receivers and the DBs are standing around in their zone spots like fucking idiot statues while the two receivers easily run to the huge open spots in the zone and are wide fucking open.

Our pass coverage wasnt nearly this bad last year, and its the same DBs. our DBs seemingly don’t know where to be or go on any given play and that is just not ok.

My unshakable faith is starting to flip … let’s right this ship before I go all 180 on his shit … Lets Go Brandon!

Our pass defense stinks. They just got beat up by Tannahill! He only had 4 incompletions! He's a very mediocre passer but our defense made him look like Brady.

Does anyone else think not playing any starters in the pre-season is a bad idea?

It is painfully obvious that the defense (which traditionally should be ahead of offenses at the beginning of a season) is not prepared to play meaningful games. They are disorganized and unable to execute whatever their assignments are for the most part. Would pre- season help? Don't know because Staley is the coach

They have played 2 entire games now and still look awful so I'm not sure how much it would have helped giving them a series or two in the preseason playing a generic scheme. But maybe it would have and we wouldn't have started the Miami game with Mack covering Hill!

He must have gotten a big boost for the 2 point conversion
