Wait, the Twins won in 1991 while playing in Minneapolis, doesn't that count?

Chargers have more motivation now, as if they shouldn't have enough already.

I think San Diego already had the longest drought without having to combine any sports seasons anyway.

            1963 - San Diego
1964 - Cleveland (until last night)
            1965 - Buffalo

Mil doesn't count cause of green bay packs.

And minn doesn't count cause they won.

Yes, we are the biggest sports losers of all time.

Milwaukee won in 1971 with the Bucks anyway.

Gehlkin is showing what an amateur he is with the poor research.

Ghelkin is right. I'm not sure you understand the statistic being quoted. It's total combined sports season among all major professional sports teams (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) since their last championship. San Diego has gone longer but only has 2 sports teams for a long period of time (Rockets and Clippers only here for a little bit). Minn has won a title in 1991, but since they have 4 major sports teams, those combined seasons add up to almost what San Diego has had with two. 1991 was 25 years ago. Minnesota has had 3 major teams since 1991 and one new NHL team which began playing in 2000. So 25 x 3 = 75 combined seasons plus 16 seasons from the NHL team = 91 combined seasons since a championship.

Like I said in another thread, how can some city have had a longer drought than never. We've never won. We've always been the city with the biggest losing streak. We just don't have the national media crying for us like they do for Boston and Chicago fans.

When you put it that way it's even stupider than I thought. Minneapolis has no drought compared to San Diego and Buffalo.
