with the D that plays 12 yards off on 3rd and 8...yeah the kid is gonna have a career day. yet ANOTHER player to have a career day going against this team!

agree... chargers have a history of giving 0-for teams their d=first win, of giving bad rookie QB's their best game of year and career, giving no name WR's NFL records..., giving non-HOF RB's .....NFL historical records..... etc....

I see only 4 teams left on the schedule that we shouldn't beat (unless we get our shit together)... Lions, Ravens, Bills, and Chiefs.
The rest are winnable games (Bears, Jets, Donkeys 2, Raiders, Packers, Patriots).
Will the Chiefs be resting players Week 18? Could the Lions or Bills fall flat (as they did last week)...?
Well, there is another win against a playoff team... and we'd be 10-7. Playoff bound.

Everyone knows how this organization works... it doesn't. Decision makers at the top are horrible.
They've moved their team from their beloved fanbase. Half of them have bailed.
They moved so they could have a new stadium. It isn't theirs. And the new, shiny stadium is filled with visiting fans.
They moved to generate more revenue. In relation to all other comparable teams, they haven't.
And now we're asked to believe that the decision makers will make the right choice at coach and GM...?

I became a fan because of the energy/commitment of the fans in that stadium... that day.
They wanted to win that day... despite their record. I admired that.

Based on HOW WE ACTUALLY COACHED AND PLAYED, should have been 0-6.... even thougjh I agree, we had a chance to win every game....

This team does not have enough talent or depth, and woe=rst of all we have some of the worst cheap coaching for the last 2 decades!!!

I've been a die hard fan since the '60's...... but my eyes are open enough to see that this worst in NFL ownership ONLY wants the team to be good enough to play close games to "Tease" the fans and keep bad cheap coaches employed.......

Most good teams like 49ers, eagles, chiefs, cowgirls have multiple first rounders on OL and on DL as well as other positions..... How many first rounders are starting for Chargers???

TT has been absolutley horrible after the first round..... s0-so in first round.... his only excuse is if Spanis son actually makes the bad decisions???

I dont want the team to lose, but if we do lose, dont come close to playoffs, I want this badly coached team to be blown out every week so Spanos will be forced to fire these idiots.....
close games and close losses keep bad coaches employed because Staley has been blaming the players for every close loss..... just like marty and others did.... hard for coaches to derfend blowouts..... but close c=games can be blamed on injuries, refs, one player screwing up, etc.....

no matter which cheap coach we have we always coach to "NOT lose the game" which keeps game close you either barely lose or get lucky and barely win..... either way, ownership will not believe its on thwe coach..... but the opposite is true.... consitently losing even close games is on the coaches!!! Footbll is ultimate TEAM game anbd requires great coaching more than any other game to coordinate 11 players at one time.....

Staley should have been fired after he stupidly played our frequently injured starters 3 quarters, in an absolutely meaningless last game against an opponents backups....stupidly losing MW for the playoffs(and could have lost more)... greatly affecting the JAX playoff game..... and his excuse was "I have to play someone"?????????.... that alone is enough to fire this idiot....

Everyone is picking on Salyer but Zion isn't looking great either.
with Linsley out, both are suffering, not to mention Slater's injury.
Regardless of who's the HC next year, the focus has to be OL.
IOL specifically unless we get a chance to draft a premium ROT prospect.
